AVANTI is active in the fur sector. The company is based in Kastoria and was founded in 1864 by Argyris Kranias.
Today, three generations later, it has evolved into a dynamic international company. Although at its very heart it still remains a family affair and although it has maintained the traditional values that have established it from the very beginning, the company has managed to set itself apart as one of the most innovative and pioneering companies.
AVANTI undoubtedly owes its absolute success to its current shareholders, brothers Argyrios, Stavros, and Loukas Kranias. All three are the great grandsons of the company’s founder.
Under the valuable guidance of their father and being armed with their passion, vision, goals and skills, they have not only continued the work of their predecessors, but have also managed to give AVANTI a clear edge in the fur sector.
All three have been properly trained, having gained many years of experience in Greece and abroad, and having an in-depth knowledge of the field, at the level of both production and international trade.
Facilities
AVANTI has a privately owned facility in Kastoria covering 2,000 sq. m., which houses its showroom and workshop. As would be expected of a modern and competitive company, great emphasis has been placed on the company’s mechanical equipment, which consists of state-of-the-art machinery. Its shearing machines, washing machines, sergers, steamers, drums, sewing machines and ironing machines all help to maximise production and optimise the production process.
Human Resources
AVANTI’s workforce consists of highly trained and experienced professionals, namely 25 employees specialising in various areas, 4 designers from Italy, France and Russia who exclusively design for AVANTI, and 35 small family workshops, each specialising in a specific field. Together they form AVANTI’s team, which employs all its artistry and unique craftsmanship to create the conditions that will bring excellent results.
